Most players plateau at around 60% on the world quiz because they never built the regional foundation. Spend a few sessions on Africa, then Asia, then Europe before tackling everything together. The world quiz rewards layered knowledge.
Watch for famous neighbours
Comoros sits between Mozambique and Madagascar. Bhutan tucks between India and China. São Tomé hides off Gabon. The shortlist usually includes nearby distractors, so reading the highlight's surroundings is half the work.
Don't underestimate the small states
Liechtenstein, San Marino, Brunei, Palau, Saint Lucia, Eswatini — together they make up around twenty entries on the world list. Players who know the giants but skip the small states cap out somewhere in the high seventies.
Use shape recognition for the largest dozen
Russia, Canada, China, USA, Brazil, Australia, India, Argentina, Kazakhstan, Algeria, DR Congo, Saudi Arabia. These twelve cover roughly half the world's land area, and they have very recognisable outlines. Lock these in first.

It can be. A full run takes around twenty-five minutes at a steady pace. You can pause at any point — the game saves your progress in the browser, so you do not lose what you have already answered if you close the tab.

Based on play data, the most-missed entries are São Tomé and Príncipe, Comoros, Eswatini, Brunei, Bhutan, Tuvalu, Nauru, Lesotho, Equatorial Guinea, and the post-Yugoslav states (especially Montenegro and North Macedonia).
