Anchor on the giants
Egypt, Sudan, Algeria and Libya in the north; Nigeria and South Africa as anchors. Locate these first, then identify neighbours by relative position.
Practise countries in groups
Use groups such as West Africa, the Sahel, the Horn of Africa and Southern Africa to organise your practice. Compare neighbouring borders rather than assuming every country in a group has a similar shape.
Don't skip the islands
Cape Verde, São Tomé, Comoros, Seychelles, Madagascar — these five island countries in the selection are easy to forget when you focus on the mainland.
Watch the look-alike names
Niger and Nigeria are different targets, as are the Republic of the Congo and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Guinea, Guinea-Bissau and Equatorial Guinea are also distinct entries. Learn their locations separately instead of grouping them by name alone.

Does the quiz include capitals?
No, this mode is purely about country identification. For capitals, see the click-capital mode in the menu.
Does the globe recenter after each answer?
No. A correct click does not automatically recenter the globe. Rotate and zoom it yourself to reach the next named country, and use markers for small playable territories.
Do I need a microphone for this mode?
No. Click-name is fully tap or click driven. A country name is shown and you click its territory directly on the globe. For voice-based country recognition in English, see the classic mode in the menu.
