Tips to play better
Practise the regions separately
Use North America, Central America, the Caribbean and South America as groups for your practice. The full selection also includes the Falkland Islands, so the grid is the reference for which entries are playable.
Use the western side as a reference
Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile and Argentina make a useful group to practise on the western side of South America. Zoom in to compare borders rather than treating them as a straight north-to-south line.
Distinguish Guyana and Suriname
Guyana and Suriname are neighbouring targets in the full pool. French Guiana is not a separate playable entry in the current dataset. Use the grid to check which names can appear.
Caribbean clusters
The Greater Antilles hold the big islands (Cuba, Jamaica, Hispaniola). The Lesser Antilles run in an arc from Antigua down to Trinidad. Treat each arc as a single mental shelf and the names start to stick.

Are the United States and Canada always in the early rounds?
No. Country prompts are selected from the current game pool rather than ordered by difficulty. The first round contains 15 countries and lasts 120 seconds; the grid lists the full selection of 36 countries and territories.
Why is French Guiana not in the list?
French Guiana is an overseas region of France and is not a separate target in the current dataset. The full Americas selection contains 36 countries and territories, including the Falkland Islands.
Do I need to know the small Caribbean nations?
Yes. Antigua and Barbuda, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Dominica, Grenada, Barbados — all six appear in the rotation. They are small but they count, and getting them right is part of finishing the region cleanly.
Can I play on a phone?
Yes. Drag to rotate the globe, pinch to zoom, then tap a territory or its marker. A correct answer does not automatically recenter the view, so adjust it yourself for the next country name.
