Learn the five Central Asian republics
Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan are five distinct targets. Locate the group first, then zoom in to compare borders instead of relying on similar names.
Separate mainland and island targets
Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam form a useful mainland group. Indonesia, the Philippines, Brunei and East Timor require you to follow the islands. Keep Malaysia and Singapore on your practice list as well.
Compare the three Caucasus entries
Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan are all included in the Asia pool. Learn them together and compare their borders at a closer zoom level before selecting the named country.
Watch for the small Gulf states
Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, the UAE — all four crowd the same stretch of the Persian Gulf. Learn their relative positions before their names appear: Kuwait at the north, Bahrain offshore, Qatar on a peninsula, the UAE wrapping around to Oman.

Is Russia in this region?
No. The game places Russia in the Europe pool and includes it once in the world selection. Turkey, Cyprus, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan are grouped with Asia.
What about Taiwan?
Taiwan is a separate entry in the full Asia dataset. The grid lists the available countries and territories; it is not a list limited to UN member states.
How are Palestine and Israel handled?
